Statement of Faith and Ecclesiastical Order

We declare this doctrine to be founded solely upon the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, fully revealed and illuminated by the Holy Spirit (II Timothy 3:16-17; I Corinthians 2:9-13).

Our Faith

Holy Bible under pink tulips

The Godhead and the Deity of Jesus Christ

We believe in the mystery of the Godhead, recognizing that all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily in Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:19; 2:9). Jesus is simultaneously fully human and fully divine: Creator and creature, the Eternal Father made visible, and God manifested in the flesh. He is the only God apart from whom there is no other. We preach Christ in His birth, life, works, teaching, crucifixion, death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and His soon coming.

God’s Standard of Salvation (New Birth)

We earnestly contend for the New Birth, which is God’s essential standard for salvation and the only path to escape the judgment of God. This divine process is complete when the believer receives the full experience of salvation as preached by the Apostles (Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16-17):

  1. Genuine Repentance: A heartfelt, godly sorrow for sin, where the contrite heart is cleansed and forgiven (Psalms 51:17; Acts 20:21).

  2. Water Baptism: Immersion in water in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, as a necessary act of a good conscience toward God (Acts 2:38; 10:48).

  3. Baptism of the Holy Ghost: Receiving the Holy Spirit, which gives power to live a consecrated life and is evidenced by the initial sign of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:6).

The Holy Spirit: Power for Deliverance

We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Ghost is the empowering gift of power upon a clean, sanctified life (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8). This experience is not merely an option but a mandatory equipping for ministry, holiness, and successful Christian living, demonstrated by spiritual signs following as on the Day of Pentecost. This divine anointing empowers the believer for Deliverance, boldness in witness, and access to spiritual gifts (Mark 16:17; I Corinthians 14:21-22).

Sanctification and Holiness

We believe that holiness is the only true standard of the Christian life. Sanctification is a definite second work of grace wrought in the heart by the Holy Ghost through faith and the cleansing of Jesus’ blood (Hebrews 13:12; I Peter 1:15-17). It is the act by which the affections are purified, alienated from sin and the world, and elevated to a supreme love for God. Without this wholly sanctified life, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14; Matthew 5:48).

Divine Healing, Deliverance, and Anointing

We believe that Divine Healing for the physical body is fully provided for in Christ’s atonement, just as salvation is provided for the soul (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; James 5:14-16).

We also affirm the power of Deliverance from demonic influence, as Jesus demonstrated and commanded His disciples to perform (Mark 16:17; Luke 10:19).

The Anointing Oil and Prayer are a sacred means of consecration and invocation for healing, spiritual strength, and the destruction of yokes of bondage. We practice the anointing of the sick with oil in faith as instructed by scripture (Mark 6:13; James 5:14).

Sacred Practices and Ordinances

We observe the following ordinances and sacraments instituted by Christ:

  • The Lord's Supper: To show the Lord's death until He comes, which must be observed with self-examination and worthiness (I Corinthians 11:23-26).

  • Foot Washing: Performed after the Lord's Supper, teaching humility and serving as an example set by Jesus Christ (John 13:14-15).

Stewardship and Restitution

  • Tithing: Tithing is a perpetual ordinance of God, preceding the Law and upheld under Grace (Malachi 3:7-12; Genesis 14:20; Matthew 23:23). It is how the ministry is supported and a fundamental expression of honoring God with our substance.

  • Restitution: We must maintain a conscience void of offense toward both God and man. Where we have wronged our fellowman (e.g., fraud, theft), we are commanded to make things right and settle debts (Luke 19:8-9).

Marriage and Family

We uphold the biblical teaching that Marriage is to be held in honor by all (Hebrews 13:4) and is exclusively a union between one man and one woman (Ephesians 5:31). We adhere strictly to Jesus' teaching that divorce and remarriage constitute adultery, with the only biblical exception being marital unfaithfulness (Matthew 5:31-32; Mark 10:11-12).

The Church and Our Conduct

The Church is the spiritual Body of Christ, and we are individual members of it, received by spiritual birth (Ephesians 1:22-23; I Corinthians 12:13). We believe every believer needs a visible Church affiliation to further the Gospel's spread.

Regarding conflict, we maintain the highest respect for our nation’s laws and officials (Romans 13:1-7). However, based on the non-resistant teaching of the Gospel, we hold the conviction that we cannot take up arms against our fellow man. We must always obey God rather than man (Acts 5:29) and maintain the unalienable right to worship God according to the dictates of our own conscience.

The Return of Christ and Eternal Judgement

We believe that the return of Jesus Christ will be just as literal as His going away, preceded by the revealing of the Anti-Christ and the Great Tribulation (Acts 1:9-11; I Thessalonians 4:15-18). Following the tribulation, there will be a Millennial Reign of Christ for a thousand years (Revelation 20:1-6).

Finally, all nations shall be gathered before the Great White Throne Judgment and judged according to their works (Revelation 20:11-15). We believe that Heaven is eternal, and Hell is eternal; the saved will enjoy glory forever, and the wicked shall be cast into the lake of fire forever (Matthew 25:41-46).
